Environmental Policy

Doing business today means not only creating wealth and well-being but also consciously and responsibly supporting the general goals of social and economic development in a context of safeguarding local and global environmental resources. Therefore, respect for the environment has become an integral part of corporate tasks, just as eco-efficiency can be counted among the key success factors for future-oriented organizations. For this reason, the company has decided to certify according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. Improving one’s environmental performance means not only contributing to the realization of now established and defined environmental policies but also building a new trust relationship between economy, institutions, and generally among various stakeholders such as customers, associations of various kinds, employees and collaborators of the enterprise, and citizens in general. To give substance to such commitments and to guarantee the achievement of objectives, with the commitment to the continuous improvement of its environmental performances, TECNOEXTR S.r.l. commits to providing adequate human, instrumental, and economic resources to:

– Comply with the environmental legislation, compliance obligations, voluntary requirements subscribed, system procedures, and adopted corporate policies;

– Involve all levels of the organization in environmental management, from Management to individual workers, each according to their role and competence;

– Strengthen the culture and commitment by creating awareness among all employees on respect for the environment;

– Assess risks related to business activities, defining and implementing concrete and measurable actions for the reduction of such risks, with a view to prevention towards environmental impacts;

– Ensure that industrial processes are designed, implemented, directed, and maintained considering respect for the environment among the priorities;

– Achieve environmental protection objectives, constantly monitoring the performance of their activities in order to pursue continuous improvement and reduce specific resource consumption (water, energy, materials, etc.), committing, where possible, to recovery and recycling;

– Conduct periodic reviews of the context and the Environmental Management System to evaluate and manage the risks that could prevent the realization of the above and the opportunities for improving environmental performance. The Management is directly involved in the implementation of these commitments and in defining measurable objectives that allow periodic verification of this Policy by all stakeholders, as well as the adequacy of resources allocated to them.
